Alana India Anderson

Journalist

I am a British-Canadian journalist and student based in London.

I have written investigative features on topics such as exploitation of the UK’s asylum policies, gender inequality in STEM fields, and controversy within the Canadian journalism industry. My third-year dissertation covered the evolution of journalism in the digital age.

My interview subjects have included national politicians, OBE recipients, asylum seekers, and best-selling musicians. I gained further experience as a staff contributor at an international music publication.

In June 2015, I will graduate with a BA (Hons) in Journalism from the University of the Creative Arts, where I am editor of the graduate magazine.
